About Us
Bud Media is a South Australian multi-media business
working with an independent collective of traditional
publishing, new media and design professionals,
launched in 2018 and bringing together some of
the most talented, highly skilled individuals here in SA.
Every aspect of the books we publish is produced here
in South Australia. Providing work for writers, designers,
editors, printers, web specialists and more.
We have published 2 beautiful hardback books in 2021,
The Wine Producers - A Taste of McLaren Vale and The
Wine Producers - A Taste of Barossa.
Collectively they share the stories of over 120 of South
Australian premium wine producers and grape growers.
Both these books won the prestigious ‘Best New Wine Book’ of the year at the Wine
Communicators of Australia awards in Sydney – November 2022 and featured in entire episodes of South
Aussie with Cosi, Chanel 7 and 9.
The first project Bud Media undertook was ‘The Producers, A Taste of South Australia’, in
2018; a premium coffee table book featuring the stories of 100 South Australian food and beverage businesses. Then, in 2019 we published ‘Heart and Soul’, a stunning book telling
the stories of100 Australian Family businesses. Both publications have sold out.
In 2022 we produced 3 new projects.
South Aussie with Cosi’s Top 100 Destinations in SA, The Wine Producers – A Taste of Adelaide Hills and the McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Coast visitor guide 2023/4.
On the 9th of November 2023 we published our latest book -
The Distillers - A Taste of South Australia. In it we share the stories of the distilleries & the distillers,
also the history of distilling in South Australia. A beautiful hard-back book.
We have some exciting publishing projects already in the pipeline for 2024.
We have published the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast Visitor Guide
for the last 9 years.
The guide offers a comprehensive selection of regional tourism experiences from wineries
to coastal activities.
Recognised as the number one guide in South Australia and produced
in partnership with
the City of Onkaparinga.
